Emergency Vehicles

As I was driving our Minipumper to a call the other morning it is amazing how many people will not stop or even slow down for red lights and a siren blaring. When you pull out of our station you have turn onto a major road. You can be sitting there for at least 30 seconds to a minute but still no one stops. We had a instance the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, we had a wreck on the interstate and the truck was parked on the side of the road and people still flying by. Well, someone hydroplaned right into our truck. This just shows when you see red lights and emergency vehicles SLOW THE CRAP DOWN!! South Carolina state law says that all motorists should moved to the right to allow Fire Trucks, Ambulances, and Police Cars to get by. It is amazing how if people just moved a little how we can get through. Well thats it for my fussing about other people. Just remember it could be you we are trying to get to next time.

New Home

So now that exams are over I have moved out of my dorm room and now living at the fire station. It is something I have wanted to do and now will be out here for who knows how long. Its pretty new, just hang out and run calls during the day and night. Well I am glad exams are done with, I hate exams with a passion but who doesn't. So now I get to work all the time and make a some extra money. YEA! Well off to do something else.

Blogging

So I decided to join the blogging world. Mostly to get around from doing school work tonight. However we will have to see how well I do to keep up with this. Probably won't do to well this week since we have exams at school but thank goodness it will be over on friday.
